Become a USPTA Regional Testing Center

September 2008 -- Would you like to play a part in tennis-teacher certification? This is your facility's chance to join USPTA's national testing team. A bid process will be offered as part of the selection of clubs/facilities to serve as USPTA Regional Testing Centers.

Some of the criteria for selection of sites will include:

  • Geographic location of exam site
  • Tester availability in area
  • Prominence of host club or facility
  • Host hotel availability
  • Airport accessibility
  • Overall operational costs

We have been very successful with the current testing centers. They are:

Metro Atlanta - Peachtree City Tennis Center, Peachtree City, Ga.
Metro Chicago - Rush-Copley Healthplex, Aurora, Ill.
Metro Houston - USPTA World Headquarters, Houston
Metro Los Angeles - Braemar Country Club, Los Angeles
Metro Miami - The Oaks at Boca Raton, Boca Raton, Fla.
Metro New York City - USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
Metro Washington, D.C./Baltimore - Tennis Center at College Park, College Park, Md.
San Francisco - San Francisco Tennis Club, San Francisco

If you are interested in applying, please visit www.uspta.com, click on "How to Join," then "Regional Testing Center."
