Let GrapheneTM take your game to the next level

Head's newest core technology introduces the world's strongest and lightest material: Graphene

January 2013 -- Discovered in 2004, Graphene consists of a single two-dimensional layer of carbon atoms. Graphene is 200 times stronger than steel which makes it the ultimate material for creating exceptional properties in HEAD tennis racquets. For the first time, Graphene technology allows for optimal redistribution of weight. Through the use of this technology in the shaft, the weight in the middle part of the racquet is reduced and the weight can be shifted from the racquet shaft to more functionally relevant areas in the tip and the grip. This unique construction provides players with unmatched manueverability and an increased swing weight. In other words, a racquet with Graphene is easier to swing and enables more powerful shots. Opponents will be running for cover!

Features:
  • Graphene is the world's strongest and lightest material.

  • In the construction of HEAD racquets, it enables a redistribution of weight from the racquet shaft to the tip and grip.

  • The optimized redistribution of weight generates more kinetic energy using less effort.
